Things Academy People Would Care to Know/Read

I'm not exactly sure what we're supposed to do for this, is it personal or books and media articles? So I'll post both.

Personal:
I have a pet dog named Clarence (named after the member of Bruce Springsteen's E-Street Band), a brother named Michael, and a fish tank in my living room. I like to read, spend time with friends, play tennis, and participate in cross country. I am not in any choral groups at school, but I'm hoping to try out for the winter play and spring musical (Guys and Dolls). If I don't make the musical, I'm going to try out for badminton. I'm really excited to spend the rest of high school in academy!

Books/Media:
I love to read. I always have, and there are many books that I have read in my life. One of the series that I have loved since I could read was Little House on the Prarie series, by Laura Ingalls Wilder. This simplistic series recounts the life of a young girl as she grows up in the Midwest in the late 1900's. I absolutely adored these stories when I was younger, and looking back now see even more of their brilliance and lessons.
Now I enjoy more complex books and series and enjoy the challenges they provide when I read. I look forward to getting more suggestions from fellow academy students!
